Modern Leather Care

The vast majority of modern automotive leather is coated with a urethane barrier. Heavy, oil-based conditioners simply sit on top of this barrier, attracting dust and creating an unsightly, slick surface.

True leather maintenance requires a dedicated, pH-balanced leather cleaner applied with a soft horsehair brush to lift body oils and dye transfer from denim out of the pores. This should be followed by a synthetic, matte-finish leather sealant that provides UV protection and abrasion resistance without altering the factory sheen.

Plastics, Vinyl & Alcantara

Interior plastics demand anti-static properties. Using all-purpose cleaners (APCs) mixed too strongly can prematurely degrade dashboard materials. We specify specific interior detailers that gently cleanse and leave behind a dry-to-the-touch, OEM matte finish.

Alcantara and synthetic suedes require distinct handling. Never saturate the fabric. Use a specialized Alcantara cleaner, lightly misted onto a microfiber towel, and gently blot the surface, finishing with a dedicated suede brush to restore the nap.
